Shirley McManus

1933 - 2019

Shirley was a professional puppeteer for 52 years, performing first

throughout Southern California and then in the Puget Sound area.

She delighted generations of children with her in-the-round variety show

 and handcrafted marionettes.

She often said she had the best job in the world.

Shirley's daughter Terry will continue performing marionette shows.

Anyone wishing to celebrate a life well lived is invited to make a donation to their public library.
